Hall Booking Guidance Notes

1. Within your booking time slot, include enough time to set up the Hall for your event and also to clear up the Hall after your event. For birthday parties we would recommend allowing at least 30 minutes before and 30-45 minutes after the party to undertake these tasks.
2. Remember that the Hall must be left in the same condition that you found it please.
3. A member of the Scout Group Executive Committee or a designated representative will open and lock up the Hall at the starting and finishing times of your booking.
4. You must not leave the Hall unattended at any time and you are required to remain on the premises until a representative of the Scout Group has completed their post event check on the condition of the premises.
5. Regular hirers (Fitness clubs, community groups, etc) may be able to obtain a key for the Hall. All requests for a key should be emailed to hallbookings@83rdscouts.org.uk for consideration. A deposit will be required for any keys issued which will be refundable upon return of the key at the end of the hire period or upon termination of the hire by the Scout Group.
